Memory Care Activities

Improving Memory & Alzheimer’s

Sears Methodist utilizes a person-centered care approach to memory care. We begin by identifying preserved capabilities, previous roles, habits, and interests of our seniors with memory loss to develop activities and care plans customized to the individual resident.

Our specialized memory care programming provides activities in an environment that is meaningful, purposeful, and success-oriented. The activities program focuses on meeting the social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs of our residents.
